About Us
We are Steve & Miki Thrall; Americans who arrived in Paris in 1988. After 30 years in Paris we moved to La Pommeraie in Normandy to prepare a place to welcome artists. For more than a decade, our primary role has been working with artists and the Paris arts community. Our desire is to care for, encourage and accompany artists in their art and their spiritual growth.
Our Vision
La Pommeraie is a welcoming place for artists to come to rest, reflect and find inspiration. We desire to encourage artists to engage in a creative process enabling them to advance in new artistic efforts. The center point of La Pommeraie’s vision is found at the intersection of art, faith and culture.
The goal is to promote exploration, development and creation of new work that resonates with its culture while opening doors to a deeper spiritual encounter with God, the great Creator.
The Property
La Pommeraie is comprised of 3 beautiful cottages in the heart of Normandy. The land is approximately 2.5 acres with fruit trees, shrubs, flowers and a small pond on a small country road surrounded by farms and large cultivated fields.
a place to receive creatively gifted people who work in a wide variety of artistic disciplines.
It is an environment where artists will find encouragement and time to reflect.
